Securus were struggling to find a provider that could be the foundation of their business, they were looking at multiple providers who could each look after certain racks in certain DC’s, but still had missing links. Therefore, they were not only struggling to effectively peer between data centres but were also missing out on a larger customer base.
Because Securus’ work is based on managing customer’s networks, who are already in Data Centres (DC’s), they needed an inside track which was the most connected to provide optimum solutions for clients.
Over a four week period, CORETX’s Partner team worked with Securus on the most critical decision they would make for their business and helped them discover the best forward thinking solution. It was of paramount importance that Securus had resilient access to a large network backbone to deliver multiple connectivity services, not just on closing the sale.
CORETX’s network footprint and Data Centre coverage as well as leverage of third partnerships already in place, was the perfect fit for Securus’s requirements, plus by going with CORETX their entire infrastructure was under one single contact too.
Securus were provided with racks of colocation space in two of CORETX’s Points of Presence (PoP) DC’s in London, connected by CORETX’s network as the backbone to link their sites. This was valuable because being on the same infrastructure is future proofed, meaning CORETX guarantee further growth scalability.
As well as colocation and access to the network, CORETX also provided IP Transit so that Securus could make use of the excellent peering.
